• Eligibility

  This promotion is open only to legal residents of the State of Colorado who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who possess both:

  1. A valid U.S. driver’s license, and
  2. Active automobile insurance meeting Colorado minimum coverage requirements.

  The following individuals are strictly prohibited from entering or winning:

  • Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and representatives of Emich Volkswagen, Emich Automotive Group, Emich Kia, Emich Auto, and all affiliated dealerships and companies.
  • Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent) and members of the same household of any such individuals.
  • Employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, or affiliates of the Cherry Creek Holiday Market, its parent companies, underwriting entities, vendors, partners, advertising/marketing agencies, promoters, or event sponsors, and anyone living in the same household as any such individuals.
  • Any individual or household that has previously been disqualified from an Emich promotion.

  Void where prohibited by law.

  A maximum of one (1) entry per person AND one (1) entry per household is permitted. Duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or tampered entries will be rejected and may result in permanent disqualification.

  Entry Period & Entry Conditions

  • Entry Period: Entries will be accepted until December 23 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
  • No entries will be accepted before the official entry launch or after the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstance.
  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY and making a purchase will not improve chances of winning.
  • By entering, participants affirmatively consent to receive future marketing communications (email, SMS, or phone) from Emich Volkswagen, Emich Automotive Group, and their affiliates. Participants may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe mechanisms provided.
  • Open only to legal residents of the State of Colorado who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  Prize Description

  One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:

  A One-Year (12-Month) Lease

  • A promotional 12-month lease for a 2025 Volkswagen Taos S AWD, including:
    • 7,500 total miles for the lease term
    • Sales tax for the lease term paid by Emich Volkswagen
  • Vehicle prize has no cash value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, or substituted for cash in any amount.
  • If a 2025 Volkswagen Taos S AWD is unavailable for any reason, Emich Volkswagen reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a comparable vehicle of equal or greater value, model year, or equipment.

  $1,000 Cash Component

  • Winner will also receive $1,000 in cash, intended to help offset costs such as registration, insurance, or ownership-related expenses.
  • Winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes owed on the $1,000 cash amount or any aspect of the prize package.

  Lease Conditions

  The winner must:

  • Meet Volkswagen Credit (VCI) approval standards. If the winner does not qualify for required credit approval, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
  • Maintain full-coverage insurance (comprehensive and collision) for the entire 12-month lease, listing Emich Volkswagen/Volkswagen Credit as loss payee and additional insured.
  • Adhere to all terms in the official VCI lease agreement.

  Winner is responsible for:

  • All excess mileage beyond the included 7,500 miles
  • All fuel, maintenance, consumables, and routine service costs
  • Any wear-and-tear charges, lease-end disposition fees, overage penalties, cleaning fees, or damage assessments
  • Any tickets, tolls, violations, and related penalties during the lease period

  No security deposit is required for the promotional lease.

  Failure to comply with insurance, credit, or contractual requirements may result in immediate prize forfeiture.

  Winner Selection

  • One (1) winner will be selected by a random number drawing on December 24 from all valid, eligible entries received by the deadline.
  • Odds of winning depend solely on the number of eligible entries received.
  • Emich will attempt to contact the winner via the information provided.
  • If the winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required timeframe, fails to provide required documentation, declines the prize, or is otherwise found to be ineligible, Emich reserves the right to select an alternate winner or to cancel the prize.

  Liability Release & Legal Protections

  By entering, participants fully and irrevocably release, discharge, and hold harmless:

  Emich Volkswagen, Emich Automotive Group, Emich Kia, Emich Auto, Cherry Creek Holiday Market, their owners, partners, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, agents, contractors, advertising/marketing agencies, volunteers, event partners, successors, and assigns

  from ANY and ALL liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, injuries (including personal injury or death), obligations, legal actions, expenses, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, arising directly or indirectly from:

  • Participation in the contest
  • The drawing process
  • Awarding, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize
  • Operation or use of the leased vehicle
  • Failure of the winner to abide by legal, insurance, or lease requirements
  • Travel, transportation, or activities related to the prize
  • Technical failures, fraud, tampering, or unauthorized access
  • Any attempt to challenge the outcome, enforce alternative prizes, or seek financial compensation

  Participants agree that:

  • All decisions by Emich are final, binding, and non-negotiable.
  • No entrant or winner may pursue litigation against Emich Volkswagen or any related entity for any reason related to the giveaway.
  • Any dispute that cannot legally be waived must be resolved individually, without class action, exclusively under Colorado law, in Denver County, Colorado.
  • Coercion, harassment, threats, or attempts to influence employees or the drawing will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.

  General Conditions

  Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and may not be sold or substituted by the winner.
  • Emich reserves the right to verify eligibility, identity, and compliance with contest rules at any time.
  • Emich reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion if fraud, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its control compromise the integrity of the giveaway.
