The sedan costs less and gets better highway mileage. The hatchback is 11 in. shorter, easier to park and carries bikes, skis and dog crates with the seats folded. Kia says its 59.3 cu ft of folded cargo space beats the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross and Honda HR-V (compact crossovers, as of October 2025). - Front-wheel drive with good tires: every K4 is FWD. Winter tires make the biggest difference on snowy Denver streets.
- The turbo helps at altitude: the GT-Line Turbo's 190 hp and 195 lb-ft hold up better on I-70 grades than the non-turbo 2.0L.
