Every trim offers AWD. The LX AWD starts at $26,690 MSRP, the X-Line S has AWD standard at $28,990, and the turbo X-Line SX is $32,790. Rated 28 mpg combined with AWD.
2027 Sportage
AWD on the LX and EX, and standard on the X-Line at $34,790 MSRP. More cargo room than the Seltos, rated 26 mpg combined with AWD.
2027 Sportage Hybrid EX AWD
The most fuel-efficient AWD Kia SUV at 35 mpg combined, and we have EX AWD models priced under $35,000.
2027 K5 GT-Line AWD
The only Kia sedan with AWD, rated 27 mpg combined. A good fit if you want AWD without an SUV.
AWD and Colorado Driving
When Colorado's traction law is active on I-70 and other mountain roads, you need AWD or 4WD, snow or mud-and-snow tires, or chains or an approved traction device, and tires need at least 3/16 inch of tread. What is the cheapest Kia with AWD?
The 2027 Kia Seltos LX AWD, at $26,690 MSRP ($24,990 plus $1,700 for AWD), before destination. The Seltos X-Line S comes with AWD standard at $28,990.
Does the Kia K4 have AWD?
No. The 2026 K4 sedan and K4 Hatchback are front-wheel drive only. If you want a similarly priced Kia with AWD, look at the Seltos, or the K5 GT-Line if you want a sedan.
Does the Kia K5 have AWD?
Yes. AWD is available on the 2027 K5 GT-Line and is rated at 27 mpg combined. The K5 LXS and K5 GT are front-wheel drive.
Does the Kia Carnival have AWD?
No. The 2027 Carnival and Carnival Hybrid are front-wheel drive only. For three rows plus AWD, look at the Telluride, Telluride Hybrid, Sorento or EV9.
Does the Kia EV3 have AWD?
Yes. AWD is optional on the 2027 EV3 Wind and Land and standard on the GT-Line and GT. Kia estimates up to 280 miles of range with AWD.
Is the Kia Niro available with AWD?
No. The 2027 Niro is front-wheel drive only. For a Kia hybrid with AWD, look at the Sportage Hybrid, Sorento Hybrid or Telluride Hybrid.
